From Sickness to Health, to Holiness: an Intensive Exploration of Mental Health in Relationship to Spirituality

Dr. Ts’o, who holds a medical degree from the University of Hong Kong and a degree in neuropharmacology from Stanford, has designed this Conference in response to requests from previous participants. The new weekend format, he explains, is particularly for those interested in additional opportunity for personal and group interaction.
Saturday will still be reserved for primary teaching and presentations. For these more formal talks, Dr. Ts’o promises many new illustrations, drawn from clinical literature and a life-time’s experience in medicine, psychiatry, and spirituality.

“Examples will make it easier for people to apply the material to their own lives and personal spirituality,” Timothy said. A conference like this can well be attended more than once. Dr. Ts’o will also provide references and self-study book lists, since many have requested these.

“The material I have gathered is the fruit of the last three decades,” he confided, “but analyzing the models keeps giving me fresh insight for my own life.” His hope in each conference is to pass on these “living tools.”

DeKoven is delighted to welcome Dr. Ts’o back for this conference. Even in a blizzard, the January conference was very nearly a full-house!
