I could use some help finding out more about Father Matthew’s Hall shown in this postcard. I had never heard of it before seeing this postcard on Ebay. This postcard is from 1906, and was by well-known Racine postcard publisher, E. A. Bishop. The inscription reads: “How did you feel after seeing the country cousins around. No doubt very tired. But it was so nice for us to have you come with us. Thank you very much, M. H.”<\/p>\n

Cary Bradshaw pointed me to this postcard. Father Matthew’s Hall seems to have been a school connected to the old St. Patrick’s church on St. Clair Street, or where St. Clair Street used to pass through.<\/p><\/div>\n
