Haglin, of Minneapolis, and Miss Emma R. Smith, of this city, was celebrated last Thursday afternoon at half-past two o'clock at the residence of the bride's parents on Chippewa street. The guests were confined to relatives and a few intimate friends. Rev. S. N. Griffith of the First Methodist church officiated. After the ceremony was performed the entire company sat down to a well supplied table. Mr. and Mrs. Haglin will reside in Minneapolis.\nThe presents on this occasion were numerous and costly. Among those displayed were: Check for $1000 from father of bride, (a very handsome gift; it has been the custom of Mr. Smith to give a similar sum to each of his daughters as a wedding gift.
