As you walk from the Lincoln Memorial toward the Washington Monument, the WW2 Memorial is at the end of the reflecting pool.

The memorial has many historic quotes carved into the walls.

Each major battle is recorded.

There is a wreath and a pillar for each of the states and territories that participated in the war.

The fountains are beautiful and the sound reminded me of the ocean.

If you go to the Atlantic or the Pacific side of the memorial and look up, there is an amazing bronze sculpture of eagles holding a wreath.
