G. W. Lester Reads Service Before Small Group of\nGuests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candelabra, garden flowers, palms and ferns formed the\nsetting of an attractive home wedding when Miss Opal La Meer became the bride\nof Russell Jensen, son of Mrs. Oscar Jensen, 1556 Taylor avenue, in a ceremony\nat the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas La Meer, 1420 Quincy avenue,\nSaturday at 4 o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rev. George W. Lester, former pastor of the Grange\nAvenue M. E. church, now residing in Milwaukee, read the service in the\npresence of immediate relatives and intimate friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A gown of white chiffon, falling softly to ankle length, was\nworn by the bride. She held a bridal bouquet of white roses and sweet peas. Her\nsole attendant was Miss Beulah Rhodes, who was costumed in an ankle length gown\nof pink chiffon. Miss Rhodes held a bouquet of harmonizing pink roses and sweet\npeas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The groom was attended by Clarence Jensen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miss Beulah La Meer, the bride\u2019s sister, sang \u201cO Promise Me\u201d\nand \u201cI Love You Truly.\u201d Margaret Williams Owen played the wedding march.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dinner was served at the home of the bride\u2019s parents for members\nof the bridal party and 25 guests. Pink and white prevailed in table\nappointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. and Mrs. Jensen left immediately on a wedding trip through\nnorthern Wisconsin. After July 1 they will be at home to their friends at 1415\nCleveland avenue.
