This is a postcard postmarked 1908, printed in Germany, oddly enough. It depicts the old Racine water tower, which used to stand, according to Racine The Belle City "on the east bank of the Root River ... near Tenth Street." Steve Tonkushin writes: "The water tower in Racine was between 9th and 10th Street, just east of the railroad tracks, west of Memorial Drive. Its foundation is still there."
