Blake House, 936 Main Street
- 1868: House is built by dry-goods store-owner George Bull and his wife Roxilana
- 1873: Acquired by Racine’s premier industrialist Lucius Blake and his wife Caroline
- 1890: Death of Lucius Blake
- 1926: House sold by Blake family and converted to a boarding house
- 1952: House bought by Beth Israel Sinai congregation. By this time, the house had been converted to five apartments.
- 1976: Parking problems and the deteriorated condition of the house led Beth Israel Sinai congregation to consider demolition.
- 1977: Blake House Restoration, Inc., a non-profit corporation was formed, and restoration began
- 2016: Preservation Racine completed the re-creation of the original porch that adorned the front of the home.
