Kaiser’s Toggery

I always liked the smooth look of “KAISER’S” on this storefront at 218 Sixth Street that long outlasted its original business.

The earliest I see Kaiser’s Toggery is 1914 and it is having a going out of business sale in 1957. That’s a good run for a clothes store.

Gil Knapp: “Maurice and Helen Kaiser lived above the store. Helen Kaiser sold the building in 1962.”
