State Theater advertisements from the Racine Journal-News, December 31, 1929. “Sunny Side Up,” the “greatest picture ever shown in Racine!” It’s still strange to me when large, elaborate advertisements do not have the street address of what they are advertising.

From the 1939 Racine City Directory, the “State Theatre” appears to be at 421 Main Street.
