Pictures from Dennis Tully

Dennis Tully (dtully@wi.rr.com), director of the Burlington Historical Society, was kind enough to send me several interesting Racine pictures. Please stop by BHS’s website to take a look at what he’s put together: http://burlingtonhistory.org/

This photo must be the original for the 6th-and-College postcard over on the Postcards section. I especially like the children standing on the sidewalk watching the photographer work.

  1. I recently read your article about Ben and Ellie Schwartz.
My father, Joseph Kairis was president of the labor union for Webster Electric Company in Racine during the 1950’s. Ben was the attorney for the Union.
