E. A. Bishop Postcard Company

From Gerald L. Karwowski’s book, Racine: Public Square. This old photograph reproduction was produced by the E. A. Bishop Postcard Company, Racine’s largest postcard publisher. It was copied from a late-1850s view of Racine’s public square. It shows the first Greek Revival style Racine County courthouse built in 1838 (right) and the First Baptist church (left).

  1. I have a postcard by E.A. Bishop of Moonlight on Lake Mendota Foot of Park Street in Madison, Wi. 601A.
Do you know the date of that?

    Thanks Tom
