We were studying Fred Anderson on the Facebook Racine History group and his connection to North Cape, Racine County, Wisconsin. The grandson of H. H. Hall, Christopher Hall, noticed his grandfather’s funeral parlor mentioned, so we decided to do some more research. Clip from the Journal Times, March 15, 1944.

The Missionary society of the First Church of the Nazarene will sponsor a lecture and moving picture at 7:45 tonight at the H. H. Hall funeral home, 700 Villa street. There will be no admission charge. Interested public will be welcome.

Journal Times, April 24, 1936. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Hall, Seventh and Villa street, entertained at dinner Tuesday evening. The occasion was the third birthday anniversary of their small son, Robert. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fidler, and the two children of the host and hostess, Betty Lou and Robert.
Racine Journal Times, July 23, 1936. Woman Gets License as Funeral Director. Mrs. Violet Fidler Hall, of the H. H. Hall Home for Funerals, Seventh and Villa streets, has been granted a funeral director license from the state board of health at Madison. She took the examination in Madison July 7. Mrs. Hall will be associated with her husband in the business firm in Racine.

Racine Journal Times, January 31, 1944. Elizabeth Louise Hall, daughter of Harry H. Hall, 700 Villa street, Saturday became the bride of William Harold Pugh Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Harold Pugh, 3501 Michigan boulevard. 
Rev. Francis P. Ihrman performed the ceremony in the First Presbyterian church with only the immediate relatives present. The bride wore a dress of navy blue crepe.
Following the ceremony, a dinner was served at Hotel Racine. After a week in Chicago, the couple will reside at 1410 Main street. The bridegroom is associated with the W. H. Pugh Coal company.

Racine Journal Times, June 23, 1966. Harry H. Hall Dies; Was Funeral Director. A Racine funeral director, Harry H. Hall, 65, of 700 Villa St., died of a heart attach suffered Wednesday afternoon as he was entering an auto to lead a funeral procession in the 1300 block of State St. 
Hall, a 42-year resident of the city, was taken by the Rescue Squad to St. Luke's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He was born March 24, 1901 at Bootle, England, and came to the United States at the age of 4. He served in World War I, enlisting at the age of 16.
He was first licensed as an undertaker in 1923 at Canton, Ill. After coming to Racine he was an insurance agent and later operated his own funeral home, the H. H. Hall Home for Funerals at 700 Villa St., for 30 years.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. William Pugh of Racine; sons, Robert F. of Mason City, Iowa, and Harlon H. of Camp Pendleton, Calif.; brothers, Thomas A. of Loraine, Ill., and George L. of Evansville, Ind., and his fiancee, Vivian Morgan of Racine. His wife died in 1944. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hall Funeral Home.
