Andy Breaker I am presently taking ownership of the Strouf Funeral Home and was wonder if anyone may have older photos of it. I have one picture from the 1920s, one from the 1940s (the of the building facing High Street) and a few advertisements from the 1950s and 1960s. I would love to see photos of the building before the additions were added over the years, any interior photos, etc. I grew up in Racine on LaSalle Street and am thrilled to be back serving the community I grew up in.

Bryan Halverson: Chuck Sheffield was a close friend of our grandparents. The Sheffields were with us at a hotel to attend the wedding of a family member. My brother was having trouble tying his tie. Dad asked Chuck if he would tie it for him. Chuck told my brother to lie down on the couch. As Chuck was tying it my brother realized why Chuck needed him to lie down to do it.
